This performance, created exclusively for the Museum, premieres lesser-known pieces for voice, clarinet, cello, and piano from such composers as Ranjbaran, Vali, Sabet, and Pidgorna.
Charsu is a collaboration between Jonathan Russel Mac Arthur (tenor), Dobrochna Zubek (cello), Asal Iranmehr (piano), and Anoush Taba’i (clarinet). Together, they’re dedicated to showcasing the classical music of their rich cultural heritages.
