A Cup of Sin is composed based on the poetry of Nobel Prize-nominated Iranian poet Simin Behbahani and commissioned by Tim Brady for Instruments of Happiness - The Lioness of Iran Project. It will be on tour Spring 2018.
The creation of this composition was made possible by a generous grant form the Ontario Arts Council Project Grant.

And The Lands Were Dreaming (for clarinet, piano and voice) comissioned by Anoush Tabai will be perfromed at the Persian Clarinet Music Concert on April 23, 2017 at Gallery 345.
New Adventures in Sound Art (NAISA) will present my multi channel soundscape, Visiting Grandpa, on February 18, 2017 at Geary Lane as part of the Deep Wireless Festival of Radio and Transmission Art as well as the TransX Transmission Art Symposium.
My 4-hand piano piece, Chakameh, will be performed by Gina Hyunmin Lee and Jana Luksts.

My newly composed piece, A Hundred Veils to Fall, for solo Baritone saxophone commissioned by Caution Tape Sound Collective will be world premier by the wonderful saxophonist, Chelsea Shanoff.
My duo, When the Roses Laugh in Full-blown Beauty, for harp and marimba will be world premiered at Merit School of Music (Gottlieb Hall) in Chicago as part of Fulcrum Point New Music Project-Discoveries concerts.
This is a commission by YRCM to write a string quartet based on melodies written by York Region composers. The composition will be world premierd on January 8th, 2017 at Plaza Suite, 10268 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario.
