And the Lands Were Dreaming (2015) is a song cycle commissioned by clarinetist, Anoush Taba’i, for voice, clarinet and piano. The poetry are by Persian poets Sohrab Sepehri and M.R. Zaman.
It will be world premiered on March 11th, 2016 at 7:30 pm in Walter Hall, Toronto Ontario.
Admission is free and open to public.
My solo violin piece, Geyrani, will be performed by Maya Shiraishi as part of the Crossing Borders Music Collective concert series.

My recent sound scape, Visiting Grandpa, for 5 speakers will be featured at the Electroacoustic Music Concert as part of the 2016 New Music Festival.
My recent composition, Its Around 130, for marimba and fixed media will be world premiered by Toronto-based percussionist Evan Bowen as part of first concert by Caution Tape Sound Collective.
The concert will present both the exciting world premiere of three new compositions (including my composition Bamdad), conducted by guest conductor Shalom Bard (Toronto Symphony Orchestra Resident Conductor 2012-2014) and a collaborative performance with renowned guest artist from Montreal, Saeed Kamjoo, Iranian Kamanche virtuoso. Supporting the evening's debut are the Toronto Arts Council, co-sponsors the Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Toronto and partners the North York Arts and Koffler Center of the Arts.
